Our oldest and main business is collecting calf, bull and cow rawhides and in that part of business we can satisfy specific needs of our partners and new customers.
Companies’ warehouse is registered for storing rawhide, for technical and humane usage (gelatin and collagen), for which we are issuing all necessary documentation and certifications.
ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS NOT INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION – CATEGORY 3
Velmart d.o.o. has warehouse registered for storing Animal by-products not intended for human consumption – Category 3 (EC 1774/2002; EC 1069/2009), (Warehouse number: HR01-011NP), in which we are keeping rawhides that are not for human but technical use, meaning strictly for finished leather production.
GELATINE & COLLAGEN
Velmart’s warehouse is also registered for storing raw materials destined for the production of gelatin or collagen intended for human consumption (EC 853/2004; EC 1243/2007); (Warehouse number: 45).
Rawhides that can be used for human consumption are stored in separated part of warehouse with cooling system.
