Velmart d.o.o. is a company from Varaždin, that deals in trade, , and storage of raw bovine hides, bovine head skins In more than three decades of work, we have established excellent business relations with suppliers and customers and gained their trust through our responsible work.

The company “Velmart” d.o.o. is a family company founded in Varaždin at the beginning of 1991., and from the very beginning, it has dealt with the trade, conservation, and storage of raw bovine hides/skins.

The second generation of the family has been working on the modernization and restructuring of the company for the past few years. We are looking forward to new business ventures.

Our work and cooperation

From the very beginning, we have tried to develop good and long-term business relationships with Croatian slaughterhouses and other rawhide suppliers/collectors and customers.

For more than three decades of its existence, the company has been engaged in the purchase, conservation, and storage of raw and raw-salted beef hides, as well as processing into semi-finished (wet-blue) and finished leather, employing the tannery’s capacities.

However, today certain types of raw materials and their processing have been abandoned, and the company deals with the collection, conservation, and storage of raw bovine hides.

Today, the warehouse is registered for the storage of raw hides – Animal by-products of animal origin – Category 3, which are widely used in the pet food industry and the production of finished leather, as well as other uses. We are delivering raw-salted hides/skins all over the world, usually by container transport.
For three decades, the company has been working on good relations and cooperation with our business partners, our employees, and the entire community. We are proud that we were the first company in the Varaždin area with an installed solar power plant, which we partially use for our own needs.
